A DISTINCT HONOR

On Wednesday evening, February 7, 2018, the members of the African-American Film Critics Association will join with The Black List at the Taglyan Complex in Hollywood to rechristen their Best Screenplay Award in my name, citing "a career of excellence as a screenwriter." Starting with their 2018 Awards Show, the AAFCA Best Screenplay Award will henceforth be known as The Richard Wesley Award presented by The Black List. I will be attending the AAFCA Awards ceremony to present this award to this year's winning screenwriter along with The Black List founder, Mr. Franklin Leonard.
