Production Begins on Black Terror Film A Bicoastal Co-Production of Newark Symphony Hall and WACO Theater Center. Black Terror is a bicoastal co-production of Newark Symphony Hall and WACO Theater Center. It was originated as a play by Drama Desk award winning playwright Richard Wesley and adapted for film by WACO Co-Artistic Director Richard Lawson. The film will is an opportunity to connect audiences to the work of artists, activists and organizers for Black lives. Through Black Terror we hope to honor the past, while creating hope for our future. We can't wait for you to see it. Black Terror will premiere in Spring 2022.
